针对航天用高强度不锈钢常规冷却切削出现的表面质量难保证、刀具磨损剧烈、切削效率低等问题,基于液氮喷淋冷却方式,探究了航天用高强度不锈钢的低温铣削性能以及刀具切削磨损问题。相对于常规冷却加工,液氮低温冷却下材料的切削表面质量显著提高、切削力明显下降、刀具磨损减小。研究表明,液氮冷却方式对改善航天用高强度不锈钢的切削性能具有积极意义。 |

Abstract: |
Due to the problems of poor surface quality, severe tool wear and low cutting efficiency in conventional cooling cutting of high-strength stainless steel applied in aerospace industry, a cryogenic processing method for high-strength stainless steel using liquid nitrogen as cooling medium is proposed. Low temperature properties of the material and wear issue of cutting tool are investigated experimentally. Compared with the conventional cooling cutting, cutting surface quality of the material with cryogenic cutting is enhanced markedly. At the same time, cutting force reduced dramatically and tool wear was suppressed. The study have shown that liquid nitrogen cooling method can improve cutting performance of high-strength stainless steel applied in space industry, which is of positive significance. |
