通过理论公式推出单模光纤(SMF)包层直径125μm,数值孔径(NA)0.16和0.14两种光纤弯曲临界半径与波长的关系,并利用这两种光纤制备光纤耦合器,测试其尾纤弯曲半径分别为5mm和10mm时在常温及-40~+70℃温度范围内平均波长稳定性。试验结果表明,当尾纤弯曲半径接近临界值Rc时,耦合器平均波长变化最大。同时,通过对比发现,相同工作波长下,NA越大的光纤,临界弯曲半径Rc就越小,耦合器的平均波长变化也越小。 |

Based on a simple formula is adopted to derive the relation between the marginal winding radius of the single-mode fiber(SMF) with cladding diameter is 125μm and numerical aperture(NA) is 0.16 and 0.14 and the mean wavelength. The mean wavelength stability of SMF coupler made by these fibers with winding radius is 5mm and 10mm in the normal temperature and from -40℃ to +70℃ is tested. The experimental results indicate that when the winding radius approaches the marginal, the mean wavelength changes most. Through comparison, it is found that under the same wavelength, the larger NA, the smaller marginal winding radius, and the smaller mean wavelength change of the coupler. |
